The male end of Type B has threads that allow it to be screwed into a female-threaded fitting, pipe, or valve.

• Type B Couplers are generally used with the same size Type F adapters.
• However, they are also compatible with the same size Type A and Type E adapters.
• They can be sealed off with the same size Type DP (Dust Plug).
